Statistics cafe

The bi-weekly statistics seminar of the department

The department runs a regular statistics cafe, which is a forum to get feedback on statistical analysis and associated problems. We also have mini-series of talks, mini-lectures, how-tos and discussion groups on specific statistical topics.
If you would like to present a problem you are working in, or if you would simply like to join for listening, please consult this website (not regularly updated) for further information or APES for general statistical advice. All researchers and students are welcome, also from outside the university.

  • The current date for the seminar is Wednesday, 13:15, in the Biometry and Environmental System Analysis Library, Herderbau East 3rd floorusually alternating with the E&E seminar
  • Announcement of talks and other information relevant for the Statistics Cafe group are announced via the mailing list (see below) and on this google calender. A preliminary schedule of talks of the current semester can also be found here.
  • Suggestion for contributionsDr. Jochen Fründ.
